Setup

Channels don't load
- Check that your provider account is still valid (expiry date, maximum number of devices). Many providers allow only one simultaneous connection.
- Menu → "Refresh". Kanal reloads the channel list.
- If the screen stays black, Kanal switches from HLS to TS automatically. If it takes more than 20 seconds, the stream is usually down at the provider.
- Mobile data: some providers block connections from outside the home country.
Program guide missing or empty
The EPG comes from the provider. Automatic with Xtream accounts, with M3U only via an XMLTV link. If a tile shows "…", the provider has no program data for that channel.
Kanal Plus
- Plus is tied to your Apple account and works on all devices. If it's missing: Menu → "Restore purchases".
- Cancel: Settings → Apple account → Subscriptions. The trial then ends at no cost.
- Family Sharing: Plus applies to everyone in your family group.
Privacy
Kanal has no accounts and collects no data. Credentials live in the Keychain and optionally in your iCloud. More in the privacy policy.

Frequently asked questions
Why do I see only a few channels?
Kanal shows only matching channels in the Austria/Germany/Tennis/Formula 1 tabs. "All" shows the provider's complete list.
The Apple TV code isn't accepted.
Codes are valid for 10 minutes; type the code currently shown. Each code can be used once.
Does Kanal work offline?
No, IPTV needs a stable internet connection (at least 10 Mbit/s recommended for HD).
