How it works
Kanal is only the player. The channels come from your IPTV provider, where you already have an account.
Paste your login
Open the setup page and paste your provider's email (or M3U link). Everything stays in your browser.
Scan the QR code or type the code
iPad/iPhone: scan the QR code with Kanal. Apple TV: type the 6-digit code shown on the TV, the login is sent encrypted.
Watch
Channels appear right away. If the Apple TV uses the same Apple account as the iPad, the devices share the settings automatically.

Frequently asked questions
Does Kanal provide TV channels?
No. Kanal is a player only. You need your own account with an IPTV provider (Xtream Codes login or M3U link) that you are entitled to use. We do not sell channels, streams or subscriptions.
Which devices are supported?
Apple TV (tvOS 17 or later), iPad and iPhone (iOS 17 or later). The Samsung TV version (Tizen, 2022 models and newer) has been submitted to Samsung.
How much does Kanal cost?
The app is free. Kanal Plus is €9.99 per year (7-day free trial) or €24.99 one-time and unlocks the program table and movies & series.
Can I rewind or record?
Within the live buffer, yes (±10 seconds). Real time-shift depends on your provider (catch-up). Recording is planned.
What happens to my data?
Your login lives only on your device (Keychain) and optionally in your iCloud. We have no accounts, no tracking and share nothing. Details in the privacy policy.
